We have also listed the tricks for Get to Work and other expansion packs. Look at the bottom of the list for specific information about the expansion. We&#8217;re also up to date with more official EA cheats, including career unlocks and ignored MoveObjects!<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Like tricks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To use the cheats, press <strong>Control + Shift + C<\/strong> to toggle the console on and off. You can do this on Xbox or Playstation by pressing all four shoulder buttons together. Hit Enter after typing the trick. For many tricks, you also have to use <strong>testingcheats on<\/strong> , otherwise they won&#8217;t work. Sims.give_satisfaction_points 5000 for example.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td data-align=\"left\"><strong>fillmotive x<\/strong><\/td><td data-align=\"left\">use fillmotive motive_energy or fillmotive motive_hunger<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cheats in Build mode<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have the build mode cheats listed above, but you can learn a lot more about using them by visiting the build cheats page.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tricks for pregnancy and multiple births<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can use relationship cheats to quickly try on the baby and follow a trick once the Sim is pregnant to force him to give birth. You can even cheat to get twins, triplets, quads, or more! Find it towards the end of the Pregnancy Guide or get specific pregnancy tricks. I have created a page on how to use Pregnancy Tricks.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tricks to turn a Sim into a ghost<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go to the ghost guide for cheats to turn a Sim into a Death ghost of any type, based on the type of death. You can also skip Ambrosia or the Book of Life and turn a dead Sim into a normal Sim by removing this ghost trait once it&#8217;s added back to your family.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Testing<\/strong> <strong>tricks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To enable TestingCheats, open the console with Left <strong>CTRL + Shift + C<\/strong> (press \/ hold in one smooth motion in that order) or by pressing all four buttons on the console&#8217;s shoulder. When the white box appears, type <strong>testingcheats on<\/strong> . To disable testing cheats, type <strong>testingcheats off<\/strong> . The cheat console will say &#8220;Cheats Enabled&#8221; or &#8220;Disabled&#8221;. If not, you can try other options: <strong>testingcheats 1<\/strong> , <strong>testingcheats true<\/strong> , and <strong>testingcheats yes<\/strong> all work to enable Sims 4 testingcheats. Once enabled, they should remain active for your save. Here are the things you can do with testingcheats: Note that this command is also needed for the extra cheats further down.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How To Use Shift + Click Style Cheats On PS4 \/ Xbox Consoles<\/strong> &#8211; Can&#8217;t Shift Click On Xbox One and Playstation 4. Enable this option by pressing X + O (PS4) or A + B (Xbox One).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shift + click on the mailbox<\/strong> to access the trick to stop the decay of the need for a Sim for your current family or the whole neighborhood (make everyone happy). Disable Need Decay will make needs stop dropping and reactivating them is as simple as selecting &#8220;Enable Need Decay&#8221;. Make Happy will therefore satisfy the needs to the maximum. You can do this on an individual Sim level by Shift-clicking your Sims. will allow you to choose to make only that Sim&#8217;s needs static or to make them happy by meeting all needs. You can also completely redraw a Sim by clicking on it while holding the Shift key and selecting <strong>Edit in CAS<\/strong> . This brings you to Create A Sim, where you can make the Sim look however you like, but don&#8217;t change their gender or traits.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Change the traits and appearance of the Sims<\/strong> To completely change a Sim in Create A Sim, type <strong>cas.fulleditmode<\/strong> with TestingCheats On. It will allow you to change the gender, traits, everything and is much more powerful than the reduced version you get without type this trick.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>By Shift-clicking NPC Sims<\/strong> you can add them to your family. You&#8217;ll find that you can enable \/ disable craving decay and keep them happy if you wish &#8211; good if your Sim&#8217;s date has to leave because they&#8217;re tired! You can also edit them in CAS if you wish.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shift + click on the ground<\/strong> will allow you to teleport to wherever you can walk in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shift-clicking on objects<\/strong> allows you to restore them if something crashes or breaks.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shift + click on objects<\/strong> , for those that can get dirty, allows you to dirty or clean them &#8211; all objects can be restored too. Use this if an object is disturbed, but it is more likely to be useful when a Sim gets stuck.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Customize the size of objects &#8211; Zoom in or out &#8211; This is a winner for decorative purposes. It allows you to modify objects while keeping their other properties (so a reduced masterpiece painting will consume less wall space). This trick only works in build mode, as changing the size of the object requires you to fit it somewhere. Take the object you want to change the size of and press <strong>Shift +] (right square bracket)<\/strong> to enlarge it. You can shrink objects down to one tile by using <strong>Shift + [or using Ctrl + Z to undo changes. If you press too much, it will increase enormously. The controls for this are a bit unstable, so experimenting is recommended. I press Control +]<\/strong> then move the object to see the change. This is necessary. Thankfully, if you go overboard like in the photo above, you can always undo it and shrink the object down to the size of your choice.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tricks of skill, career and aspiration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Powerful hidden tricks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m just listing the most common tricks here. It can do more in-depth things, like the ability to equip and remove traits, it can be done, but the list is too long for here, so it&#8217;s on its page. If you want to go further and use a mod, you can change the weather if you are a Seasons player with using The Sims 4 Seasons weather cheats.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Testingcheats on<\/strong> should be enabled, as some tricks won&#8217;t work without it. Skill \/ Career Cheats only affect the selected Sim.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Money X<\/strong> &#8211; Type Money 50000 or 1000000, whichever you prefer, and your family will have exactly that amount. This can be used to steal funds because it sets the money on any specified amount. Motherlode is a beautiful cheat. Here you can get All Money cheats.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Aspiration \/ Satisfaction Cheats &#8211;<\/strong> Type <strong>Aspirations.Complete_Current_Milestone<\/strong> and you will get all the satisfaction from completing that milestone and move on to the next one, one stage closer to the special reward trait you get for completing the aspiration. You can do this repeatedly until you have all the reward traits and satisfaction drops. It&#8217;s listed above, but it&#8217;s worth repeating here: <strong>Sims.Give_Satisfaction_Points<\/strong> gives the selected Sim an amount of satisfaction equal to what you enter. <strong>sims.give_satisfaction_points 50000<\/strong> would give you 50,000 (so don&#8217;t use commas).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Infinite Consumables<\/strong> &#8211; You can purchase disposable potions with satisfaction. You can also milk cow plants that killed Sims to get a potion that increases their duration. You can make these consumables infinite using the <strong>objects.consumables_infinite_toggle<\/strong> trick. This can allow you to always get a particular emotion or make a Sim immortal with aging still going on.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Career Tricks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To cheat career levels, join the Career you want and with testingcheats enabled, type <strong>Careers.promote X<\/strong> &#8211; for example, astronaut careers.promote would promote your Sim to the next level in astronaut career. Any career that has multiple words must not contain spaces, for example, secret agent careers.promote.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Careers.demote X<\/strong> also works, returning a level Sim. You cannot use it to go back to choosing the branch for a career &#8211; if you are at the first level of a branch, you will be fired using this.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adding and removing cheats via command &#8211; Careers can be added via command using <strong>careers.add_career careercode<\/strong> or <strong>careers.remove_career careercode<\/strong> . These can be used to give a teenager an adult job, although things can go crazy, especially with freelance careers. Always backup your saved game before trying strange things!<br\/>If you&#8217;re not aware, you&#8217;ll love this trick: to get more promotions quickly, copy the following command for the career you&#8217;re in &#8211; just the <strong>careers.promote x<\/strong> part &#8211; and paste it into the game&#8217;s command line with Control &#8211; V (Command -V on Mac). You can also lower them with <strong>careers.demote gradeschool \/ highschool<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Skill tricks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stats.Set_Skill_Level<\/strong> is the skill cheat. You have to insert skills and level in the code. For example, type <strong>Stats.set_skill_level major_painting 7<\/strong> to set painting to level 7 &#8211; any level between 1 and 10 will work. Replace with major_parenting or vampire_lore, depending on how the game defines the abilities listed below. Note the different syntax for fitness, minor skills, and children&#8217;s skills. If you can&#8217;t get the cheat skills to work, try <strong>stats.set_skill_level adultmajor_x<\/strong> instead of &#8220;major&#8221;. You can find _ next to the backspace key on the keyboard.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With testingcheats on, type <strong>Stats.set_skill_level major_handiness 10<\/strong> &#8211; make handiness 10. Note the Major_ before the skill name. If you did, you would see the level 10 popup. To quickly maximize all skills, copy <strong>stats.set_skill_level major_<\/strong> and paste it into your command console in the game. Finish the command with the skill, then the level. This doesn&#8217;t work for fitness, so you have to copy that line.
