Not just money or death tricks, but tricks to apply traits and level up abilities, allow objects to overlap, manually promote a Sim into their camp or even kill Sims in specific ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to use cheats in The Sims 4<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is one thing you need to do before using any cheats in The Sims 4, and that is to enable cheats in the first place. This is done by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Pressing the Ctrl, Shif and C keys simultaneously<\/li><li>By typing <strong>testingcheat true<\/strong> at the prompt<\/li><li>Press enter<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After doing so, you can enter as many cheats as you wish. You will have to enter it every time you restart the game and want to use cheats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Sims 4 Death and Rebirth Cheats<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Death and rebirth tricks are quite simple, but listing them is not. To keep the table below simple, only the death-enabling traits are listed.<br>Death switches starting with <strong>traits.equip_trait<\/strong> can be reversed using <strong>traits.remove_trait<\/strong> and using the same modifier. Sims killed in specific ways that have turned into ghosts can be reanimated using the relevant trick. <strong>remove_trait<\/strong>. For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th>Cheats<\/th><th>Result<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>traits.equip_trait Ghost_Lightning<\/strong><\/td><td>causes a Sim to turn into a ghost killed by lightning<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>traits.remove_trait Ghost_Lightning<\/strong><\/td><td>brings a Sim back to life if it has been killed by lightning.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you use <strong>testingcheats true<\/strong> before trying to insert any more tricks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th>Cheats<\/th><th>Result<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Death.toggle<\/strong><\/td><td>Death disabled and enabled.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>sims.add_buff Ghostly<\/strong><\/td><td>Turns a Sim into a ghost for four hours.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>sims.get_sim_id_by_name [Pet name].<\/strong><\/td><td>Gives the ID of the selected Pet.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>traits.equip_trait Ghost_OldAge [Pet ID].<\/strong><\/td><td>It kills the animal and turns it into a ghost.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>traits.equip_trait Ghost_Lightning<\/strong><\/td><td>Turns a Sim into a ghost who died from lightning. (Requires TS4 Seasons).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>traits.equip_trait Ghost_Frozen<\/strong><\/td><td>Turns a Sim into a dead ghost by freezing. (Requires TS4 Seasons).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>traits.equip_trait Ghost_Overheat<\/strong><\/td><td>Turns a Sim into a dead ghost due to overheating. (Requires TS4 Seasons).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>traits.equip_trait poison<\/strong><\/td><td>Turns a Sim into a poisoned dead ghost. (Requires TS4 Jungle Adventure)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>traits.equip_trait Vampire_Sun<\/strong><\/td><td>Turns a Sim into a dead ghost in daylight. Works on vampires and normal Sims. (Requires TS4 Vampires).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>stats.set_statcommodity_Vampire_SunExposure -100<\/strong><\/td><td>Kills a vampire Sim with sunlight. (Requires TS4 Vampires)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>traits.equip_trait trait_Ghost_MurphyBed<\/strong><\/td><td>Turns a Sim into a ghost that has been crushed by a Murphy bed.
