The Sims 4 Seasons Expansion includes some unique tricks in the form of controlling the weather and, of course, you can cheat your way through. Here's a guide to cheating in Seasons and what you'll need to change the weather. Note that to take full advantage of these you will need a mod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To use cheats in The Sims 4, press Ctrl + Shift + C<\/strong> to activate and deactivate the console. For almost all of the following cheats, you must then type testingcheats on<\/strong> to enable the ability to use them. These are more advanced tricks normally used to debug the game. Press Enter after typing the trick. You can close the console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C again or press Esc if the box is in focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seasons include only one main skill, Flower arranging. Enter stats.set_skill_level major_flowerarranging 10 <\/strong>o stats.set_skill_level adultmajor_flowerarranging 10<\/strong>by replacing 10 with the level you prefer (10 is the maximum).<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are two career tricks. Firstly, you can increase your Sim's level in the gardening career by using careers.promotegardener<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But that's not all. There is an after-school activity for Children, Scouting. You can cheat and give your Sim level 5 (which will earn him the trait Scouting Aptitude and thus permanent increased skill gains). Type in Careers.promotescout<\/strong> for each level you wish to assign them. This is useful during repeated matches, as it is annoying to get all the badges required for promotion in scouts. It is not difficult, per se, it just takes a little time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you wish, you can endow the scouting trait on adults who do not have the opportunity to scout. Enter traits.equip_trait scoutingaptitude<\/strong> to get the skill gain bonuses that only scouts can receive.
