This now means that your sim has the opportunity to start having a baby with Father Winter and with it comes an interesting reward trait that no other sims are able to receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When does Father Winter show up?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Father Winter (a.k.a. Clement Frost) will appear at your house every year during Winter Fest when the clock strikes 8pm and bring presents, which he will place in the gift pile if you have purchased them. You can also ask Father Winter to give you a present after you show up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Note: the game states that Father Winter appears near a fireplace, but I've noticed that without one Father Winter will walk down the street and into your house, so don't worry too much if you can't afford a fireplace.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to make sure Father Winter feels flirtatious<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fortunately, there are lots of little things we can do to make sure that any adult sim who enters our house immediately starts to feel in love and this will make it much easier for your sim to try the baby with father winter as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first, is to add the Aura romance plot feature to your household which can be done in build\/buy mode. This lot feature will give off a nice romantic vibe when an adult sim enters your home and will usually make them feel in love unless they are currently experiencing other intense emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next thing you could do is buy some plumbob aura lamps from the build\/buy mode. The pink lamps will make your sims feel in love as long as you have them on, which means they will feel doubly in love if you also have the batch trait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You could also start preparing a few days in advance by making your sim feel in love and painting some love paintings and putting them around your sim's house to give off as many flirty vibes as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to organise a big winter festival<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If your sim is going to conceive a baby during the winter festival, you could also make it the best day ever and make sure they are really celebrating the holidays. The first thing to do is to get a box of decorations and decorate your house, it makes your sim feel happy and can fulfil one of the obligations of the winter festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also cook and eat a meal that will put your sims in a bit of a food coma, but the turkey can do that to you! This will help fulfil another winter festival obligation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You should also open presents with friends or family and have some winter social parties before Santa appears, just to make sure your sim is in the best possible mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What to do when Father Winter appears<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When Father Winter appears around 8 o'clock in the evening, you should not waste any time. You need to start befriending Father Winter right away and make your sim feel in love and start getting romantic with him. This will ensure that you have enough time to get the job done, as Father Winter will not stay forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I've found that it's easier to start flirting when your Sims have a bit of friendship brewing before you start, so try a couple of friendly interactions first and don't forget to ask them for a gift because it gives good things .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, you can go straight to romantic interactions to raise your romance bar to the point where you can try for the baby. Immediately after trying for the baby, be sure to have your sim take a pregnancy test so you know if you were successful. If you find that your sim is not pregnant, you can try again, but be quick!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Special reward trait<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The best part about having a child with Father Winter is that your child receives a special reward trait just for having Father Winter as a father. This reward trait will increase the amount of satisfaction your sim gets from all the tantrums he can complete, which is a pretty big bonus as satisfaction points can lead to great rewards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Note: all whims are automatically deactivated now, so you have to activate them in the game settings.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Should he move?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes it can be fun to let interesting characters into our house with us and help with the bills and taking care of the children. Daddy Winter is no different. When Daddy Winter moves in, he brings \u00a7500,000 with him and has level 10 skills in cooking, baking and parenting, so he might be the absolute perfect person to help you take care of that new baby of yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Final thoughts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Having a baby with Father Winter can be a great way to give your sim an edge in life and get him started on the right track with an extra bonus.
