Raises and lowers skill levelsLuckily, The Sims Studio has left behind some development tricks that allow us to manually adjust skills to whatever level we want. This page is a handy reference to avoid having to go through our huge Sims 4 Cheats for the information you need. Here are the console commands you need to increase and/or decrease skills. Each trick allows you to select the level you want your Sim to have. If you want to see each level increase notification, you can do so by increasing the skill level one at a time: 5, 6, 7 etc.
How to use The Sims 4 skill cheats
Opening the console
Enter Ctrl + Shift + C) (Mac users make sure they actually use the control and not the command). Type testingcheats on to allow the use of advanced cheats. A white box will appear at the top of the screen where you can type in the following commands. Replace X with the level you wish to set the Sim to. Remember that selected skills may reach level 5 as more expansions are released.
Note the space between stats.set_skill_level and major_skill x. If you want to maximise all the skills, I've typed all these in so that you can copy/paste them into the game, replace the x with the skill level (10 in most cases) and master all the skills fairly quickly.
