There are more cheats for The Sims 4 than most people could ever use in their time with the game and its myriad of expansions, but every player of The Sims eventually turns to tricks to change or speed things up.
The Sims 4 has tricks for everything you can think of. Not just money or death tricks, but tricks to apply traits and level up abilities, allow objects to overlap, manually promote a Sim into their camp or even kill Sims in specific ways.
How to use cheats in The Sims 4
There is one thing you need to do before using any cheats in The Sims 4, and that is to enable cheats in the first place. This is done by:
- Pressing the Ctrl, Shif and C keys simultaneously
- By typing testingcheat true at the prompt
- Press enter
After doing so, you can enter as many cheats as you wish. You will have to enter it every time you restart the game and want to use cheats.
The Sims 4 Death and Rebirth Cheats
Death and rebirth tricks are quite simple, but listing them is not. To keep the table below simple, only the death-enabling traits are listed.
Death switches starting with traits.equip_trait can be reversed using traits.remove_trait and using the same modifier. Sims killed in specific ways that have turned into ghosts can be reanimated using the relevant trick. remove_trait. For example:
