The Sims 4 Discover University will be released on November 15, 2019 on PC / Mac and will arrive on December 17 for console players. This cheating guide should work for both platforms. Using trait, career and skill cheats you can upgrade your Sim in many ways, even giving them a degree they never went to school for.
Career tricks
Discover University comes with three new careers. First, there is Engineering which has a branch of Computer and Mechanical Engineering. Law has branches of judge and private lawyer, while Education has branches of administration and professor. Each of these can be promoted with Careers.promote, so you would use:

Skill tricks
As usual, you can use the trick Stats.Set_Skill_Level on Discover University's new skills. They are Research and Debate and Robotics Skills. Both are extremely useful. To set your skill level use:

Enrolling in university
If you click SHIFT-click on your Sim with testingcheats active, you can access a sadly very empty University Debug menu where you can click on "Join University" to be immediately taken to the registration screen.
Join or leave university organisations (requires Mod)
You need All Cheats Mod to do this, but it is actually possible to join university organisations with a trick. Fortunately, I investigated and stumbled upon it. To do this, you need to use Sims.Get_Sim_ID_By_Name YourSimFirstName YourSimLastName - The ID will appear in the window. You can now use cheats to join organisations. If you have already joined, this will change and kick you out.
You can copy/paste the first part of the code, then use the SimID in the cheat console. Just be very careful to type this ID correctly. This is a more advanced trick and must be executed perfectly.

Tricks for university level organisations (no changes necessary)
Someone asked, and I found out that it is possible, when you have already joined, to give ranks to Sims Organization using a trick. Use stats.set_stat RatedStatistic_CollegeOrganization_Progress_Debate 166 to set Debate gild to rank 2 (166 is the breakpoint), 333 for rank 3. For your copy / paste pleasure, I've listed them all here. On PC / Mac you can participate with a cheat if you use AllCheats Mod (see above) but if you don't want to use a mod just ask a member - go to one of their meetings using the organisation's event schedule at the kiosk.
Here are all the organisations. Keep in mind which school you are in, as both have their own set of organisations and it may not be wise to use a code for the rival school. If you don't follow the instructions and join your Sim to a group in this way (it doesn't show up on the organisations panel) you may disrupt your ability to join legitimately.

Generate supplies for creation
I noticed that with TestingCheats On, When I click holding the Shift key on the robotics table, it gives me the option "Spawn Crafting Supplies". This will give you 50 of everything in the currently selected Sim's inventory. A great time saver if you're already cheating and don't want to have to spam to add a Servo or Fixer bot to your family.
University cheats (requires Mod)
There are a lot of cheats that can be used with All Cheats Mod from TwistedMexi. All cheats start with University. I will list them below and what they seem to do for you. Some are just informative.

Graduation tricks without Mod
Why this last one? Because it is extremely long. I'm going to list how you can get a separate degree for each major at Discover University. If you want a normal one, you can switch from BA/BS to get the normal variant from the other school.
Use Traits.Equip_Trait to add the degree to your Sim (they are simply traits, but have their own special slot in your Simology panel). Now, when you join a career, you will receive all the bonuses that any graduate would get because the game simply looks at the traits you have.
Here is a list in order of type of degree. Realize that there are four for each degree, but you only need one. Every BA comes from Britechester and every BS comes from Foxbury. For art schools (anything Britechester) the best degree will be a BA Honors while for technology and science the best will be BS Honors. This means you have a science degree and you graduated with honours.
Why am I listing them all? Because it's an easy copy paste and you might enjoy having granular control over where you graduated. I'll make small notes on some of these to make sure they are understood. I'm doing this so that you can copy/paste them quite easily and also include links to degree specifications.
