Collecting Familiar in the Magic Kingdom

To collect familiars you will need The Sims 4 Realm of Magic and your Sim must be an enchanter. These magical familiars have to be the most adorable creations in The Sims 4! Take them with you on your journey as an enchanter to protect you and help you collect talent points. They'll also cheer you on when you've learned something new.

Where can I find family members

There are numerous places where you can find family members. You can collect 11 of them!

  • Click on Libraries search tomes. (This interaction has a recovery time)
  • Buy Failiars from the shop in Casters Alley in The Realm of Magic.
  • Win them by duelling with other Sims for artefacts.
  • In Magic HQ there are two familiars to be found on the mantle of the chimneys, a Leaf Bat and a Dragon

Once you have opened the Orb, your familiar will be linked to your Sim. Click on your Sim to summon one of the bound familiars.

Fairy
Immersed in pure energy, it is almost impossible to distinguish the true form of a fairy beyond its magical wings. You can feel what can only be described as a slight sparkle when it is close.

Sixam Owl
The pre-eminent symbol of magic and ancient knowledge. They have a strong connection with the moon and stoically follow their chosen enchanter.

Crow
The messengers of prophecy and, some say, bad luck. Crows are an ancient creature that stands firmly by their favourite enchanters.

Bunnerfly
This interesting creature is an unexpected entity that defies normal boundaries and requires closer inspection. Its true nature is unknown.
Rarity: common

Dragon
Royal and powerful, this dragon should never be discounted for its size. It is a formidable foe as well as a dear companion.
Rarity: uncommon

Glowfrog
Be careful to avoid the direct gaze of the shiny frog. They are usually rather mischievous characters, although quite harmless if left to their own devices.
Rarity: uncommon

Hexagonal doll
Although this family member is the mysterious and silent type, you might still catch yourself whispering to them: "Do that voodoo you do!"
Rarity: uncommon

Camouflaged leaf bat
A classic companion of enchanters, bats have been closely associated with magic users since ancient times.
Rarity: uncommon

Phoenix
The Phoenix is deeply familiar with the cycle of life, death and rebirth. From the ashes they rise and in the ashes they fall. This is how it has always been.
Rarity: rare

Skull
When you need a protector who really scares your opponent consider the skull. It's hard not to be intimidated by this eerie, floating familiar.
Rarity: rare

Veild
The Veild is a deep Voidcritter with knowledge of countless galaxies across space and time. No one really knows the true motivation of this creature, but that didn't stop a well-known children's television programme from almost featuring Veild as a main character.
