A really fun way to enrich your sim's university experience is to convince them to join an organisation and get involved in the school. This will help them make friends, acquire skills and have more fun at school.
There are 3 organisations at each university and your sim is free to join one of them. However, these are different from the two after-school activities, which are the football team and the e-sports player.
In this guide we will discuss how to join campus organisations and all aspects of each individual organisation so that you can make an informed decision before getting your sim into one.
How to join an organisation
There is only one way to join an organisation, and that is to ask a member to let you in!
To do this, you should go to an event for the organisation you wish to join, find a member of that organisation and introduce yourself. Then, a social interaction should appear that allows you to ask them to let you join.
You will immediately be part of the organisation and have its events and activities in your organisation panel.
It is possible for a single sim to be in more than one organisation at a time, however, they will take up a huge part of your sim's week, so along with the lessons, you may run out of time to juggle everything.
We advise you to stick to one organisation at a time if you want to do well at school.
University of Britechester organisations
"Are you consumed by the insatiable need to create? You are not alone! Share that passion with your fellow Art Society members. Gain organisational progress in your spare time by doing creative activities.
The Art Society is one of three student organisations at UBrite and is focused on painting, particularly figure painting. When you become a member, you will be given a t-shirt and a post to show your pride.
The Art Society at the University of Britechester has two types of events your sim can attend to increase membership and make new friends:
Evening at the bar of the artistic society
The evening at the bar is a great place to make friends with other members and get to know them for long-term relationships.
Tuesday evenings from 20:00 to 24:00 at the Local Bar
Figure painting is where the art society will come together and paint pictures of a model who has volunteered, you will be able to visually see how good your sim is as a painter
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 15:00 to 19:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00 at the Channel behind UBrite Commons
How to level up in The Art Society
The easiest way to gain levels of membership in any of the organisations is to become friends and socialise with other members, so attending bar nights is a great way to spend time together without having a task to complete.
You should also work on creative skills (e.g. painting) in your free time to earn more subscription points even when you are not at events.
Each organisation has three levels that your sim must pass to reach its full potential and unlock all the bonuses:
A new member will be able to participate in the organisation's events and will receive a T-shirt and poster to show their pride in being a member.
When your sim is an experienced member, he/she will earn extra credit when attending Art Society events if he/she is in the Fine Art or Art History programme.
Senior members will be able to acquire creative skills (e.g. painting, writing, instruments) at a faster pace and will also be rewarded with the Rob Russ Happy Little Easel.
